Boa: A long scarf or tippet, often made of feathers or fur

Bustle: A narrow structure that hung down the centre of the back, and was often part of the structure of the skirt itself, consisting of steel hoops sewn into the lining of the dress to give a rounded silhouette shape to the back of the dress

Chemisette: Undershirt

Chignon: A large coil of real and artificial hair worn either at the nape of the neck or the back of the head

Cuirass Bodice: A close fitting bodice or corset extending below the waist, often worn with sleeves of a different fabric

Pagoda Sleeve: A form of sleeve consisting of a narrow upper arm spreading to a wide opening at the wrist
