Ketty Gottardo studied at the University of Udine, Italy, and later obtained her MA and subsequently PhD at The Courtauld under the supervision of Dr Sheila McTighe. She has worked at the Louvre, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and more recently at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles as Associate Curator in the Department of Drawings. Ketty was previously Head of the Drawings Department at Christie’s Paris. Ketty will introduce herself and discuss some of the works in the Gilbert and Ildiko Butler Drawings Gallery exhibition A Civic Utopia: France 1760 – 1840.
