Join a behind-the-scenes tour of two original Regency houses with Trust Director Nick Tyson. The houses are currently under restoration so this will be a wonderful opportunity for architectural historians to see the intricate work in progress. The two houses that are both in Brunswick Square, one showcasing life upstairs and the other depicting life below stairs, have been stripped back to reveal the 18th century materials beneath. Echoes of the past décor are now informing research into the restoration of the fabric of both houses.
The schedule for the day will run as follows:
11am Coffee and registration
11.30am House tour (about 90 mins) with Nick Tyson
1-2pm Regency themed lunch
2pm Brunswick Town Walk, weather permitting or Discussion Session (about 90 mins)
3.30pm Town Walk finishes back at Regency Town House
