Lynne Woolfson (MA 1987) from the Wallace Collection, will lead us on an insightful and highly entertaining tour of the Wallace Collection in the bicentennial year of Richard Wallace’s birth. Wallace led an extraordinary life and the collection that was left to the British nation includes some of the finest works by Rubens, Titian, Velasquez and Poussin amongst many others, as well as outstanding examples of French Sèvres porcelain and personal items belonging to Marie Antoinette. This is private tour when we will have the museum to ourselves followed by drinks in the covered courtyard of what was one of London’s most sumptuous private houses.
