Masterpiece London: Courtauld alumnus curator led tour

Private breakfast reception followed by a tour from Dr Wolf Burchard, Courtauld alumnus and a member of Masterpiece’s vetting panel. Dr Burchard will lead us through a selection of his own personal highlights. Wolf Burchard is an art and architectural historian, specialising in 17th and 18th century royal patronage. He is the National Trust’s Furniture Research Curator and was previously Curatorial Assistant at the Royal Collection Trust. He studied for his MA and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where he was the recipient of the Edmond J.Safra scholarship funded by donations from our Samuel Courtauld Society members.  Breakfast will be served from 9.00am with a welcome from Philip Hewat-Jaboor, Chairman of the Fair at 9.30am before we start our tour.
